5 Brilliant Corporate Marketing Videos That Inspire Real Change

Video marketing isn’t just about selling a product. The best corporate video productions connect with audiences, tell meaningful stories, and inspire real action.

Some brands do this exceptionally well. They craft videos that don’t just look good—they feel good. They shift perceptions, challenge norms, and stick in your mind long after you’ve watched them.

So, let’s take a look at 5 brilliant corporate marketing videos that do exactly that.

1. Patagonia – “Don’t Buy This Jacket”

Watch here

Patagonia is known for its commitment to sustainability, but this campaign took things to another level. A brand telling you not to buy something? It’s bold, but it worked.

The video challenges fast fashion, urging consumers to think before they purchase. It reinforces Patagonia’s mission and builds loyalty among environmentally conscious customers.

👉 Lesson: A strong stance makes a strong impact.

Personal thoughts from Kevin, Film Division’s Lead Strategist: “If you don’t aim for a strong impact you might as well give up now. The days where just about any video would work are long gone. In today’s digital landscape you have to commit to quality. Here at Film Division we strongly believe that you should never compromise quality over convenience and that shines through in shot, every take and every edit we do.

Additionally, if there is a bonus lesson we could learn from Patagonia, it should be to stay true to yourself! Authenticity is key in every stage of your video marketing strategy. Never think you can fool your audience by, for example, greenwashing your message. One of the main reasons this campaign from Patagonia works well is that they truly believe in the message! You’ll never find a video where they’re spreading bullsh*t. They will always be their authentic self.”

2. REI – “#OptOutside”

Watch here

REI made headlines when it closed its stores on Black Friday and encouraged people to spend the day outdoors instead. This campaign wasn’t just about marketing—it was a movement.

By aligning its actions with its brand values, REI reinforced its commitment to nature and won over outdoor enthusiasts worldwide.

👉 Lesson: Actions speak louder than ads.

Personal thoughts from Kevin, Film Division’s Lead Strategist: “Ever since I became a parent, I aimed to be the right role model for my two boys. And that means walking the walk and not just talking the talk. In corporate video marketing, this means putting your money where your mouth is. That’s why I absolutely love this case study.

REI didn’t just create wonderful corporate video content, they are fully committing to it. Their actions speak true. It shows that you can rely on them to stick to their principles, even when it hurts financially. Remember, they didn’t only close their physical stores, they even closed their website and gave all their staff a paid day to spend outdoors. That is a role model I would follow.”

3. WWF – “Just Like Us”

Watch here

This powerful WWF campaign draws direct parallels between human and animal behaviour. It highlights how animals experience emotions, family bonds, and love—just like us.
It’s simple, yet incredibly effective at making viewers empathise with wildlife conservation.

👉 Lesson: Visual storytelling can make complex issues feel personal.

Personal thoughts from Kevin, Film Division’s Lead Strategist: “Always start with empathy. That is the first rule in our creative manifesto. And that is exactly what the WWF has achieved in this brilliant video. Just look at the first sentence at around 10 seconds in: ‘Like us, elephants feel complex emotions’. Those first two words: ‘Like us’ provide us with so much context. These two words immediately create a bond between the audience and the elephants. That personal connection between the viewer and the elephant is central to their message. It forces us to apply our individual ability to empathise and explore different perspectives.

This effect is even strengthened by visually zooming in to explore the perspective of the elephant. As an audience, we’re literally experiencing what it means to be an elephant on the African savannah.”

4.  Liberation Foods – For Any Occasion

Watch here

Good from the ground up. That’s the vision and mission Liberation Foods lives by. This example video from our own project library illustrates the importance of starting with the right mindset in content creation. Great content grows when it’s nurtured by all stakeholders along the way.

👉 Lesson: Great content is good from the ground up.

Personal thoughts from Kevin, Film Division’s Lead Strategist:  “When we first met with Dan & Rachel from Liberation Foods, we were blown away by their commitment to doing the right thing. One of the first steps in our journey was to fully embrace the “good from the ground up’ philosophy and apply it to our own creative process.

The best projects emerge when you start with shared values. In this specific case study, we didn’t work as supplier and client. Instead, we collaborated as a dedicated team without any hierarchical differences. Each member of the team brought a unique perspective on ‘good from the ground up’ that continues to shine through in every frame, shot, scene and video. Can’t wait to see what the future has in store for this partnership!

5. Make Money Matter – Oblivian starring Olivia Colman

Watch here

This campaign from Make My Money Matter is a wake-up call wrapped in dark humour.

Featuring Olivia Colman as an oblivious financial adviser, the video exposes the shocking reality that many UK pension funds still invest in fossil fuels, deforestation, and arms.

The contrast between Colman’s comedic delivery and the unsettling truth makes for a compelling and memorable piece of content.

👉 Lesson: Hard-hitting messages can land better with the right creative execution.

Personal thoughts from Kevin, Film Division’s Lead Strategist:  “I absolutely love when a campaign uses humour to tackle serious topics. Oblivian is a masterclass in blending satire with urgency. It’s engaging, it’s sharp, and most importantly—it gets people talking. The brilliance here lies in the contrast. Olivia Colman’s delivery keeps the audience entertained while simultaneously dropping bombshell facts about unethical investments.

This is exactly why video is such a powerful tool in marketing. You take an issue people might otherwise ignore, package it in a way they can’t resist watching, and suddenly, they care. That’s the kind of impact-driven storytelling we live for at Film Division. If your video doesn’t stick with your audience long after they’ve watched it, you’ve missed the mark.”
